Two people were killed after a flash flood caused by continuous heavy rain hit Cenxi City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Monday afternoon, local authorities said.
As of 9 p.m., rescuers had found two missing people but they died after efforts to save them failed.
Rescue efforts and aftermath work are currently underway.
